Destination wedding in the South of France

After three years of planning, four dates moves and a nine-month move to Australia for work, Lauren and Callum finally celebrated their marriage in the South of France last Summer at Chateau de la Napoule, a 14th Century Castle on the French Riviera.  Located in the picturesque seaside village of Mandelieu-La Napoule, west of Cannes in the South of France, the chateau is steeped in history and is a dream venue, with several incredible spaces for luxury weddings and events.

The very best European suppliers worked with us, with catering by Pavillon Traiteur, production from Gala Organisation, and photography Linas Dambrauskas.

Paula Rooney and her team joined us from the UK to enhance the Franch Chateau with beautiful English floral designs.

The wedding day commenced with the groom getting ready at Hotel Majestic in Cannes, where unbeknown to him, the bride had arranged for a speed boat to take him and his Bestman at the getty and take them to the Chateau.

The Grooms Suit was a bespoke design from ClementsandChurch and the groomsmen wore Hugo Boss.

The bride got ready at the iconic Hotel Martinez and was driven with her parents to the Chateau in a vintage Excalibur car from Riviera Prestige Cars.

The bride’s wedding dress was Berta from the Wedding Gallery.

Guests were welcomed with a glass of vintage Champagne in the Pond garden before they moved to the ceremony location, which featured a stunning mirror aisle dressed with clouds of gypsophila and cream roses. White and gold medallion chairs were set up on each side of the aisle, facing the beautiful flower arch in front of the castle entrance.

Following the ceremony, reception drinks were served on the Terrace views overlooking the Bay of Cannes and the Mediterranean. Guests enjoyed delicious canapes and interactive live cooking stations whilst listening to music from House Acoutic.

Guests dined outside in the Courtyard, with tables named after the local area Cannes, Provence, Nice, Antibes, Monaco & Cotes D’Azure.

During dinner there was a surprise performance by The Beau Ties and guests danced outside under the stars before moving inside to the Salon Marie Clews and the Gothic dining room with a saxophonist accompanying the DJ as another surprise for the guests.

Lauren and Callum’s destination wedding on the French Riviera was featured on Junebug Weddings.
