Earlier this year, we were invited by Paula Rooney Wedding and Event Florist to collaborate with her and wedding photographer Cary Sheffield, to showcase the beautiful gardens at Farleigh House, a new and exclusive wedding and events venue located in Hampshire.

Farleigh is the perfect location for a weekend of celebrations and an idyllic location for a stunning marquee wedding, there are eleven luxurious bedrooms, four spacious reception rooms for guests to enjoy, as well as ten acres of gardens with views over the pretty Hampshire countryside.

The gardens are beautiful and such a romantic backdrop for wedding day pictures, it was difficult to pick a favourite spot for the shoot, but as the blossom trees were in bloom, Paula chose the blossom tree avenue for the shoot location – It was the perfect choice for the opulent table scape, which epitomises quintessential English elegance at its very best…

Paula Rooney Wedding Florist had designed a blossom tree table centre, using a very soft palette of blush pinks, grey and cream flowers to complement the surrounding blossom trees. An overflowing table runner made from scented peonies, white lilac and white hydrangeas, which sat perfectly at the end a table located underneath the avenue of trees. English country garden style roses also dressed the table, emphasising the beauty of the surrounding gardens and accentuating the beautiful flowers already in abundance around the estate.

Planned for Perfection dressed the table, with delicately etched glassware, exquisite linen and stylish charger plates from Couvert Bespoke Event Hire and finished with cherry blossom stationery designed by On Cloud Nine.

Add to the shoot a beautiful bride who was meticulously styled by Hair and Make up artist Gemma Sutton and dressed in a stunning Emma Hunt Wedding dress, a handsome groom and the cutest little bridesmaid dancing through the gardens in a Nicki McFarlene bridesmaid dress (stocked in Hampshire at Madeline Isaac James boutique) and a dresser from Stress Free Hire that was used as a dessert table, which as laden with tasty treats from Gifted Heart Cakes.
