My fiancée had spoken with Jane first and was seemingly convinced. Sceptical, I joined the following call and within 10 minutes, I was Team-Jane! 

With all the uncertainties of planning a wedding during a pandemic, Jane was clearly up for the challenge. At the start we didn’t realise just how much we would rely on her, yet after each month and each hurdle, she became our lifeline.

Our beautiful venue had hosted a limited number of weddings previously, so it was very much a blank canvas. While Jane provided us with brilliant vendor recommendations, she was very open to move forward with others that we had found separately. There was never any pressure to move away from our wedding vision or budget.

After a year of lockdowns and restrictions, it was always a risk to settle on a date. Jane was invaluable in mitigating this risk by scrutinising contracts and agreements with vendors. Not only did she liaise with each vendor individually, she brought them all together to make sure they were on the same page and had a single point of contact on the day.

As for the day itself, she was the glue holding it all together! Her team made sure that we could enjoy our wedding completely. Any hiccups were dealt with and she worked with our brilliant vendors to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. Planned for Perfection received the highest compliments from our guests and we have no doubt why.

Our family and friends are the most important thing to us. Having Jane on board meant that we could spend as much time with them as possible and they could have an amazing party.

We cannot thank you enough Jane. You are an absolute boss!!

I really struggled to start writing this review, mostly because I don’t know how to begin thanking Jane for what a brilliant job she did! Our wedding day is honestly one of the best days of my life so far and a huge part of that is thanks to Jane’s amazing organisational skills, caring nature and utter determination!  

My husband and I (still strange saying that!) decided to start planning our wedding during the pandemic… We both had some ideas of things we wanted, but we didn’t really know how to execute them. Enter Jane. As somewhat of a perfectionist myself, I didn’t want a wedding planner to do all the planning or make all the decisions. From the first time I spoke to Jane, she completely understood where I was coming from and what I needed: someone to help, guide, advise and support, whilst not taking over the whole process.  

Not only was Jane always kind and delightful to talk to, but she offered creative ideas, was passionate about the fine details, extremely knowledgeable and very efficient. Her experience was invaluable. She recommended vendors who were just as exceptional as her, but was also a fantastic team player with any new suppliers that we brought into the team.  

Jane raised points that we would never have thought of on our own and always provided the solution too! With regards to contracts, she helped to make sure they were Covid-tight, by ensuring that every supplier was on the same page. When it came to keeping all the suppliers up to date (as we entered into lockdowns and restriction lifting dates changed on a frequent basis) she was excellent at communicating with the whole team and taking the stress off us. I have no doubt that there were many more hidden hiccups in the background, but Jane never let us know about any issues unless she’d already come up with a plan to tackle them! 

Throughout the planning process, it always felt like Jane had our back. If we ever ran into any difficulties, be it with ever-changing Covid rules, keeping everyone safe, or with the logistics of making things happen on the day – she was the first to find a way, reassure us and keep us optimistic! 

Jane, I cannot thank you enough. There were so many other examples I could mention to highlight your commitment to giving your couples their “best day ever”, but your work really does speak for itself. You were an absolute dream to work with over the past year and you definitely helped to keep me sane! Whether it was moonlighting as my therapist, a political guru or weather forecaster you took on your multiple roles with grace and humour! And on the day, we could not have wished for a more insightful, dedicated, thoughtful and truly lovely individual to give us a day of perfection. All our guests – and particularly our close family, who also got to know you – are so grateful and in awe of what you helped us to pull off! Without you, there is no doubt in my mind that the process would have been a hundred times more stressful, and we wouldn’t have been able to enjoy the day half as much as we did. Thank you again and we can’t wait to meet up with you for a catch up soon!

Two wonderful grooms in the Cotswolds

Dear Jane,

Now the dust has settled and things are returning to normal, we just wanted to send you a quick note. The words "Thank you" don't seem enough to cover everything you have done for us.

We always dreamed of having our wedding at our home in The Cotswolds, and you not only turned that dream into a reality, you managed to surpass our expectations. As you know we are very "particular" - so this is an extraordinary feat!

Having had to postpone our wedding twice, you played supplier Tetris with complete aplomb and without an utterance of frustration, as we finally made it to the most perfect weekend of our lives.

Your knowledge and expertise are second to none and every single one of the suppliers who you so rightly recommended bought their "A game". Not only that, they were some of the loveliest people you could wish to meet, who genuinely seemed thrilled to be a part of our wedding celebrations.

As we said on the day, you are award-winning for a reason, and we have no doubt there are very few people who could have pulled of the perfect weekend as you did. (Especially on our very steep site!).

Over the last week, we have had note after note from our guests raving about the standard of our event. Many calling it the best wedding they have ever been to.

Please can you pass on our thanks to Hannah and Fi. They were also both amazing and lovely in equal measure!

Jane, finally, we feel so incredibly fortunate to have had you by our sides during this entire process. Thanks for the laughs, the guidance, the wisdom and the calm. We really are going to miss you!

Jane was among a number of planners recommended to us by our venue, as having a planner came as a prerequisite of booking to have our wedding there. As quite a creative and visual person I was originally concerned about having a planner, as I felt I wanted my wedding to reflect my husband and I, rather than what was fashionable or had been put together by a ‘wedding professional’ who had done it many times before. From my first meeting with Jane, it became very clear that with her this certainly wouldn’t be the case. Jane 100% put me at ease that it would still very much by our day, the way we wanted it and that she would be there as a guiding hand and help us achieve this. After meeting with a few other planners, we opted for Planned for Perfection based on Jane’s easy going, friendly persona and a real feeling that Jane would be invaluable over the coming months of planning – which could not have been more true.
Throughout our entire 18 months of planning, Jane was there not only as an excellent wedding planner, budget keeper and meeting organiser, but as a constant reassurance we were ‘on track’ and had nothing to worry about. Her expertise and wealth of experience was such a wonderful thing to have on our side, after all, we’d never planned a wedding before! When just 6 months before the wedding – after almost an entire year of planning – we hit a bump in the road and decided to change from the venue that we had originally booked to a wedding at home Jane was the complete saving grace – honestly, we couldn’t have done it without her. Not only did Jane seamlessly and seemingly effortlessly rearrange all our current suppliers to the new venue, but she was invaluable at putting everyone’s mind at ease and calming us all, in what could have been a highly stressful situation.
In the week leading up to the wedding, Jane came into her own again, she was there everyday of the ‘set up’ at our home (even missing being home for her daughter’s final A-level exam – now THAT’S dedication!) directing and overseeing all of the various suppliers arriving throughout the week. Jane’s meticulous planning and week off ‘timetable’ meant all the set up went along perfectly and any ‘bumps in the road’ had adequate time to be over come and dealt within plenty of time. When it finally came to the day of our wedding, I felt nothing but calm and relaxed, knowing that Jane had organised the day to perfection and was there for us making sure it all went to plan. Having Jane at the house in the morning before we left for the church was really wonderful, as she really became a friend throughout the planning process and my parent’s were more than happy leaving their home in Jane’s hands while we went off to the ceremony, with final set up still taking place. Jane’s assistant Fiona then met us at the Church and was equally as lovely and friendly, calming all the nerves as we waited at the door of the church (mostly on behalf of my bridesmaids!!!!) and even helped to make sure my veil and dress were laid perfectly before I walked down the aisle.
In all, I really can’t recommend hiring Jane and Planned for Perfection enough and have been praising her many virtues to all of my engaged friends. Wedding planning is a wonderful time but it’s (probably) something you’ll never have done before and having someone on your side that knows what they’re doing and has done it many times before, is such a benefit and reassurance. For anyone worried that having a wedding planner will take away your creative streak or somehow reduce your creative input – DON’T! Working with Jane, I was able to have full creative say in the wedding styling that I wanted and having Jane organise the more logistical/budget side of the wedding, left me free with all the time to make, create and mood board – if anything having Jane allowed me to have MORE creative input, how would I have had time to make signposts, learn calligraphy and make three wedding cakes (www.dollydewdrops.co.uk) if I hadn’t been able to hand over organising meetings, timings, budget and general logistical everything to Jane!  Our wedding planning journey may not have always been smooth and I think its fair to say we probably hit more than a few bumps along the way, but with Planned for Perfection in our corner, it was never anything but a joyous, stress free and wonderful 18 months of excitement, love and flowers. A time I’d repeat again in a heart beat, if I had Jane in my corner.

Cotswold Wedding at Hilles House Palace Yurt

We cannot praise Jane enough for the support she gave us throughout the 18 months of planning our dream wedding! The day was so much more than we had ever hoped for, and we could never have pulled it off without Jane’s (and her team’s) patience, diligence and expertise. Throughout the planning of our wedding, she effortlessly injected a feeling of calm and diplomacy into a wedding party that boasted a few ‘big personalities’, and despite a few last minute changes in the line up, Jane always made us feel she had this 100% under control, which enabled us to enjoy the process rather than get caught up in the stress! In addition, her stellar reputation and locally held relationships enabled us to feel confident that the vendors she introduced us to would provide an equally perfect service as she did. By the time the day came, everything came together seamlessly, and not once did we have to think about keeping things on track – Jane was waiting in the wings making sure everything was perfect. In a way, it is sad it is all over, but when I can persuade Jamie that it’s appropriate to renew our vows, we will be back!

Please don’t think that my delayed reply means that I truly do not appreciate what you did for us and for my sanity during the lead up to our wedding and on the day itself! I have been following you on Instagram and I am just so amazed and proud to say that “P4P” planned my wedding day too!  You gave us such a special day and when I look at all of the amazing places your gift takes you, I am just so happy that you helped me…..a girl who never thought she would get married had the best day of her life!
When it came to wedding planning, I had no idea where to start! I had found my gorgeous venue [Pittville Pump Rooms in Cheltenham] and whilst looking through their list of approved vendors I came across Planned for Perfection. When I researched Jane, I was really excited and I just knew that she would get my vision without me even having to speak – a skill that came in very handy when we first met!
Looking through her past weddings and reading her testimonials, I could see that she really enjoyed what she did and it wasn’t just a business to her, she clearly enjoys planning weddings and has a great eye for all different styles of weddings in simple, amazing, luxurious and beautifully romantic settings.
When I first went to meet Jane at the venue, the amazingness of the venue literally rendered me speechless…..and I mean literally, I was totally overwhelmed!  I couldn’t even make any decisions, but by asking me lots of questions and suggesting lots of ideas, Jane got my vision and I knew immediately, that she would create the look I was going for, which was timeless, elegant, Hollywood glamour!
Jane would check in with me regularly and see how things were going and as the wedding day got closer and closer, Jane kept me calm in the madness of it all!
Jane was amazing, as well as working her magic in organising everything, the order of the day was so precise, she made sure that all of the individual suppliers knew exactly what they were meant to be doing and she was a calming influence when I was overwhelmed with everything and everyone!
The morning of my wedding was so relaxing I even managed to have a little nap!
There were numerous calls from my London guests telling me that it was snowing, there were hailstones and torrential rain, but I didn’t worry because it was all in hand and I knew that it would all be ok, whatever the weather! Jane was like a fairy that sprinkled magic dust on the whole day and it was perfect….even the sun came out!
My guests were amazed by the whole day, Jane made everyone feel so comfortable and I was so happy to have her expertise and support. She also works so well as a team player with all suppliers to ensure the best day. In particular with Ben Roberts, our amazing photographer, who was also the absolute best!
All I can say is that Jane is amazing and I couldn’t and wouldn’t recommend anyone else to plan your special day! She is absolutely fabulous and is forever a huge part of one of the happiest days of my life.

Writing this review has proven difficult because it’s difficult to put into words how much Jane has done for Matt and I in helping our wedding dreams come true!

When I first met Jane I instantly felt a connection, she was so easy to talk to and I knew that she was going to do a fantastic job making not one, but two wedding days a dream come true.

Surprise proposal at Blenheim Palace

Jane is worth every penny and more for her services! She planned the perfect proposal at Blenheim Palace and it wouldn’t have been possible without her experience and creativity. 

Given that I reside in the US and was proposing in the UK, there was an initial apprehension, since I was proposing in an area that I had  never visited before, but when speaking with Jane, she took all that apprehension away!

Due to time difference, it could have been difficult to communicate over the phone. However, Jane always made herself available throughout the day to answer any questions or go through any other ideas I had about the proposal. She is very attentive, personable and is willing to go above and beyond to make sure your day is special. 

She handled everything for me, such as sourcing photographers, videographers, suggesting places to propose and places to eat during our trip to the Cotswolds. Because of her, our proposal was magical and something my fiancée & I will never forget!

Destination wedding in Italy 

Often when a person is instructed to do a job you think you know what you’ll get. We expected a wedding planner to be at the end of the phone, to introduce us to suppliers, send photo ideas, create mood boards, find a venue and help with catering.. We did get that of corse, but also far far far more than we could have hoped for!

We could never include all of the examples of hard work and attention to detail that we received from Planned for Perfection, but here are a few highlights..
I happened to mention to Jane during the early stages of planning, that I quite liked the look of a particular hotel that I’d seen on TV and that if we could find something like that, it would be great. Within a couple of hours she found the exact hotel in Italy and the available dates.
We wanted to get married within 6 months, travel with our 3 children all under 4, bring two nannies and our guests from the UK and abroad. The children were given child appropriate rooms, stair gates were fitted, car seats were purchased in Italy, transfers from the airports were arranged, guests were personally met at the airport by Jane’s team, Jane and her crew knew who was arriving when and on which flight. By the end of the first day she even knew every guest by name!

We visited Aquapetra with Jane to approve the venue and taste the wedding food. Jane reminded us about dietary requirements of all of our guests and gave us her insight into catering for our wedding and advised what would work well. Her input and experience around how the catering and service should run on the wedding day, was invaluable.

The hotel was transformed over the days leading up to the wedding. Jane and Fiona even climbed an olive tree in heels to hang lights, and in an unprecedented hail storm, swept away hail stones from a flooded terrace. Jane even had a safety pin when during a rather over enthusiastic dance move, I broke the strap of my dress! Their attention to detail was second to none and the wedding weekend ran seamlessly.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Planned for Perfection team. Jane is always at the end of the phone, knows the very best suppliers, and deals with every question and and bride worries in a measured, calm and reassuring way. We couldn’t have done it with her.

Apart from saying “yes” to my fiancé’s proposal, hiring Jane at Planned for Perfection was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! ‘An Intimate Hindu Celebration in Surrey’ at Wotton Hall in Surrey & Elmore Court in The Cotswolds

After getting engaged we decided having a wedding planner on the ground in the UK would be a smart move as we live in Australia.  We were looking for someone who would partner with us on this fabulous journey of planning our dream day.  We weren’t looking for someone to run the show but someone to suggest things and be our eyes and ears on the ground.  After contacting a few planners and talking to three we knew in an instant that Jane was the lady for us.  From our first Skype call Jane was warm, friendly and most importantly listened to us.Our wedding was going to be December 2015 and the theme was ‘East meets West” with 14 months to plan the wedding we flew to the UK in September 2014 to meet Jane, look at venues and meet florists and cake makers and do food tastings.  Jane had all this arranged and planned for us before we arrived and we were excited and felt in control and couldn’t wait to see all our plans come together.December 2014 we got a call from the UK to say that my mother had been diagnosed with lung cancer and that time was of the essence so we decided to do a separate wedding ceremony that my Mum could be part of, I didn’t know how I was going to make this happen but I called Jane and she made me feel at ease and that it was all going to be OK.   Arriving in the UK on the 9th of December Jane had an understanding of what I wanted and needed to achieve to be able to share a special day with my mum and our close family.Within a week, Jane had helped me secure a venue a date, a catering company, flowers, a photographer and cake.  To make things more complicated, we were planning a traditional Hindu wedding but somehow Jane used her contacts and her expertise in wedding planning to pull off an entire wedding in 4 weeks (with Christmas and New Year in between!).  The results were out of this world and we could not have asked for a better day. Everything was perfect and the day ran without a hitch.  Without Jane achieving this would have been almost impossible but her knowledge of all things weddings and her network and relationships with vendors made this all come together.This was Part 1 of our two-part wedding; we are still going ahead with our original wedding date later this year and Jane continues to support and help us plan this exciting journey.  She always gets back to us promptly; you would never know there is a 8 hour time difference.  Jane has ideas for all elements of your day and always works with what you want and your vision.  We cannot wait to see the results for Part II.

Jane was always at the other end of the phone (or email), helping to coordinate suppliers, timings, answer guest queries and keep things moving, especially in the weeks leading up to the wedding. By the time the wedding weekend arrived, all of those tiny last minute details that would usually keep me awake, simply just didn’t exist – I knew Jane had everything covered and it let us truly enjoy the weekend and make the most of our time with our friends and family. Jane is extremely experienced, very organised and great at managing people. We would highly recommend Planned for Perfection.

Having had first hand experience of Janes skills at bringing together all facets of my daughters wedding, “Planned for Perfection” would be the first name on the list for future events. From the moment that Jane took over the reins, my daughter was able to relax, as it was clear from the first and subsequent meetings with her that everything was being meticulously organised and executed. The wedding day went like clockwork and nothing was too much trouble for Jane who clearly loves her job and is great with people. Gloucestershire-Warwickshire Railway Romantic Steam Wedding

From the first meeting with Jane, our minds were put at rest. We told Jane the type of wedding we hoped for and she made suggestions along the way. As our wedding was on board a Steam train, we knew there may be logistical issues to overcome. We need not have worried, in the months before our wedding, Jane visited us at home, going over all the fine details – she was in regular contact with the staff at the Train station and our photographer. On the day of our wedding, Jane was at the station hours before us, sorting out the rings, favours, carriages, seating, guests etc. When we arrived, she calmed our nerves, fixed my hair before I made my entrance and organised the Caldicot Male Voice Choir to start singing as she led the way for us to walk down onto the platform, to greet our waiting family and friends.
Jane worked tirelessly to make sure everything went smoothly for us on our big day. Weeks later friends were still talking about how well organised the wedding was and how much they had enjoyed it – this is all thanks to Jane. We would highly recommend Planned for Perfection to anybody wanting a perfect wedding day.

Dear Jane,

We can’t thank you enough for all that you did to help us put together one of the most important days of our lives. You were definitely everything we hoped for and more.  Our wedding day was more beautiful than either one of us could have imagined.  And we thank you so much for that.

When looking for a wedding planner, we were looking for someone we could trust, fully rely on, and someone who would really understand our taste- particularly because we were planning a U.K. wedding from overseas in NYC, in combination with both Jeremy’s and my full/busy work schedules.  In addition to not having the ability to fully devote our time to wedding planning, the time difference worked against us as well. And Jane, you met all of our needs, took the time to really listen to what we were envisioning aesthetically, and as well as for the general ambience of the day.  I can’t stress enough to those who are looking for an international wedding planner how important this is.  It was a huge relief knowing you could filter out on our behalf, and that we fully trusted you to make judgement calls for us.  You also went above and beyond to look for items I was looking for not necessarily available in the U.K.- and the amazing thing is, you always pulled through and found a vendor that could make everything I was looking for!

But most importantly, the wedding day itself ran seamlessly because of you. The day of was such a calm, relaxing, stress-free day because you made sure we knew everything was in good hands.  Coming from someone who was not thrilled by the idea of wedding planning in general, it was an absolute pleasure working with you- in fact, I would do it all over again!

Should we ever have another event to plan in the U.K. or elsewhere in Europe, we will definitely be knocking on Planned for Perfection’s door again!

Planning a wedding in England while living in California is admittedly not an easy task. Following my first call with Jane, however, my nerves were immediately calmed as I knew she was exactly the one I needed to help select and coordinate with vendors and organize all the logistics for my wedding day. Not only does Jane have impeccable taste, but she has an inherent understanding of what I wanted and how best to work with me. Her approach to planning reflected my own: enthusiastic yet acutely aware it’s the small details that make an event fantastic.
